Account types

UNBOOKED has six kinds of account. Below is what each one can do and, just as important, what it can't.

Fan

Anyone who wants a show in their city. All you need is an email address. You don't pay anything, and you're not obliged to buy a ticket after declaring your intent.

What you can do

  • Request any artist on the platform, in any city.
  • Request an artist who isn't with us yet: propose them, and if enough requests come in, we add them.
  • Get a Founding Fan number, in sign-up order, and that order decides who hears about tickets first.
  • See every show you've requested in one place, and withdraw from any of them.

What you can't do

  • You can't request the same artist in the same city twice: one sign-up per person, so the number actually means people.
  • You can't declare more than 2 tickets, for the same reason.
  • You can't propose an artist on their behalf, as if you were them.

Artist

You sing, do stand-up, dance, or get on stage in any other way. You don't need a company and you don't need an agency.

What you can do

  • Claim your profile if it already exists, or create it from scratch.
  • See which cities want you and how many people, in real time.
  • Launch a tour campaign, choosing the cities and each one's threshold.
  • Get the signal when a city hits its threshold, before any promoter does.

What you can't do

  • You can't request another artist on the fans' behalf: demand comes from them, or it wouldn't mean anything.

Management

You represent one or more artists and keep their business in order.

What you can do

  • Keep several artists under the same organisation.
  • Create and publish campaigns for each of them.
  • Invite people to the team and give them different rights on each artist.
  • See demand by city and the promo materials for each artist.

What you can't do

  • You don't see fan data: the numbers by city, yes; their names and addresses, no.

Booking agency

You book shows for several artists and look for where it's worth putting one on.

What you can do

  • Bring your roster onto UNBOOKED, artist by artist.
  • See demand by city for your whole roster, in a single list.
  • Get the signals and claims that come in from promoters.
  • Reply to a firm offer straight from the platform.

What you can't do

  • You can't claim an artist who isn't yours: the claim goes through us and needs proof.

Promoter

You put on shows and want to know where tickets will sell before you put money on the table.

What you can do

  • See the cities that have hit their threshold, with the number of fans and their declared budget.
  • Claim a city and send a firm offer to the artist or agency.
  • Reach the fans who signed up through us: we send them your ticket link ourselves, 48 hours before the public sale. Their list stays with us. You only get their Founding Fan codes, no names, no emails, no phone numbers.

What you can't do

  • You can't get in without verification: a promoter account is approved by us, based on a form.
  • You don't sign anything through the platform. We put you in touch, the rest happens between you.

Venue

You have a club, a bar, a restaurant with a stage, a cultural centre, or a courtyard that fits people. You don't need to have ever hosted a show.

What you can do

  • List your venue with its city, type, and how many people fit, seated and standing.
  • Appear in the list that booking agencies and promoters read when they're looking for a venue.
  • Note what the venue already has (stage, sound, lights), so people know what doesn't need to be hauled in.
  • Change your details any time, from your account.

What you can't do

  • We don't guarantee shows. We make you findable; who calls you and whether you say yes is between you.
  • We don't publish your email or phone number: the public list only shows the name, city and capacity.
  • You don't appear in the list before we verify the venue. A made-up venue would cost a booker a wasted trip.

What it costs

Nothing, for now, for any account type. If we ever introduce a cost, we'll announce it in advance and it won't apply retroactively to anything already on the platform.
