Cookie policy
This is an English translation for convenience. The Romanian version is the one with legal effect.
The site has no cookie banner because it doesn't need one: the only cookies we set are those without which the account and the referral link would not work. This page says exactly which they are.
Version 16, 12 October 2026
1. What we set
Session cookie (a name beginning with "sb-"): keeps you logged in between pages. Without it you would have to log in to your account on every click. It lasts as long as the session.
Referral cookie ("ub_ref"): remembers the code from the link you came through, so that the fan who invited you gets due recognition when you sign up. It lasts 30 days and is tied to a single artist and city. It is read only by the server.
Both are strictly necessary for the functions you asked for, so the law does not require consent for them. We don't set advertising, profiling or audience measurement cookies.
2. What we don't set
We don't have Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or any other third-party tracking code. We measure use of the site with our own log, which writes no cookie and does not recognise you from another site; it is described in detail in the Privacy policy.
We don't set cookies that track you across sites and we share nothing with advertising networks.
3. The Spotify player
On an artist's page and on a campaign page you may see a Spotify player. The player belongs to Spotify, not to us: the moment it loads, it sets its own cookies, loads its own scripts and may keep a record of the visit, under its own policy.
That is why it doesn't start on its own the first time. The first time you reach a player, we ask for your consent right there, in its box, with a "Start the player" button. We chose this instead of a banner over the whole page because the question only makes sense where there is a player, not on every page and for every visitor.
Once you have pressed it, your choice stays in your browser and the players start on their own across the whole site, when they come on screen. You are not asked anything again. If the browser signals a slow connection or "Data Saver" mode, the player stays behind a click even after consent.
What Spotify collects and how you can control it is set out in its policy: https://www.spotify.com/legal/privacy-policy/.
Content from YouTube, Instagram and TikTok loads only when you press on it. Until then, nothing is requested from them.
4. How to change your choice
The choice for players is kept in your browser, not with us, so you change it from the browser too: you delete the site data for unbooked.ro ("Site settings" or "Stored data", depending on the browser) and the site will ask you again at the next player.
If you refused, the player's box stays on the page with a button through which you can start it at any time, without deleting anything.
Strictly necessary cookies can be blocked from the browser settings, but then the account no longer works: there is no way to stay logged in without the session cookie.
